We’re a family-owned fuel provider owned and operated by Jolie Ginsburg and Brian Deninger, innovators with a shared mission: to cut petroleum use, protect the environment, and enhance fleet performance.
FROM YOSEMITE TOURS TO A BAY AREA BIOFUELS MOVEMENT
Our journey started in the aftermath of 9/11, when Jolie and Brian, owners of Incredible Adventures, set out to decarbonize their tour vehicle fleet. With tours heading to pristine destinations like Yosemite National Park, they saw firsthand the importance of reducing emissions and sourcing domestic fuel.
This mission led to the creation of the San Francisco Biofuels Co-op and later the San Francisco Biofuels Task Force, which helped reduce petroleum use in the city’s municipal fleet, including MUNI buses.
In 2010, their commitment evolved into Dogpatch Biofuels, the first renewable diesel station in San Francisco founded in 2008, offering R95 Ultra Clean Diesel—a high-performance, non-petroleum alternative produced in the USA, supporting green jobs and cleaner air.
