Welcome to Dogpatch Biofuels, a family-owned business that stands at the forefront of alternative fuel solutions. Co-owned by Jolie Ginsburg and Brian Deninger, our journey began with a deep commitment to creating positive change in the realm of transportation, energy, and the environment.

In the aftermath of 9/11, as the world grappled with its vulnerabilities, we felt compelled to take action. Jolie and Brian, the minds behind the esteemed tour company, Incredible Adventures, embarked on a mission to decarbonize their own fleet of vehicles. Their vision was driven not only by a desire to support domestic energy sources but also to enhance vehicle performance and significantly reduce their environmental footprint, particularly in their tours to the pristine Yosemite National Park.

This venture marked the genesis of our passion for alternative fuels. As founding members of the San Francisco Biofuels Co-op, Jolie and Brian were pivotal in establishing the groundwork for change. In 2008, their relentless efforts bore fruit with the opening of Dogpatch Biofuels, a symbol of progress in reducing petroleum dependence. Additionally, their dedication contributed to the formation of the San Francisco Biofuels Task Force, which played a crucial role in curbing petroleum use within the city's municipal fleet, including MUNI.
Dogpatch Biofuels emerged as a natural progression of this fervor for sustainability. Rooted in the idea that cleaner, greener alternatives can coexist with economic feasibility, our station and delivery services were born. Committed to offering an alternative to both commercial and retail customers, we empower businesses and individuals to make choices that support domestic energy, carbon reduction, fleet efficiency, and environmental well-being.
